Establishment of the School of Allied Medical Professions, a collage (three years) attached to Kanazawa University made up of the Departments of Nursing, Radiological Technology and Medical Technology.
April 1977

Establishment of the Advanced Course in Midwifery.
April 1979
(Showa 54)
Establishment of the Departments of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
October 1995
(Heisei 7)
Start of the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Kanazawa University (four years) consisting of the Departments of Nursing, Radiological Technology, Laboratory Sciences, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
April 2000
(Heisei 12)
Establishment of the Master’s Course, Division of Health Sciences, Graduate School of Medical Science.
April 2002
(Heisei 14)
Establishment of the Doctoral Level Section of Integrated Course, Division of Health Science, Graduate School of Medical Science. The Master's Course changed its name to Master’s Level Section of Integrated Course.
April 2008
(Heisei 20)
Reorganization of the departments and subjects to 3 colleges and 16 schools.
